Kentaro Miura is one of a number of manga artists that works at his own pace, frustrating as it may be for fans, and can spend a lot of years doing so. Such is the case with his lengthy work Berserk, which has just had three big budget animated features out. He’s getting ready to resume the manga after a hiatus but before then he’s getting something out new that just landed today in the latest issue of Young Animal. Titled Gigantomaxia, the new series is the first one from him in twenty years but it’s also a very limited work as it’s scheduled for six chapters that will be completed by mid-February, which means that it’s likely almost all done or completed at this point. Check out the promotional image for it below.
Not much is known about the series at this point beyond it being a science fiction/romance series that’s set 100 million years in the future.
