NouCome Episode 6 | TFP Review
GingaDaiuchuu: Furano is actually becoming a very interesting character. Her public persona and extreme “gap moe” were amusing enough, but as a person, beyond the pretty generic attribute of liking the male lead for not much of a reason, is a bit deeper than I was expecting. It’s not as if this is the first thing to ever address issues like this, but it still hits pretty hard to make her a more genuinely sympathetic character than I was expecting. I was actually a little sad for Kanade to lose the memories of seeing who she really is.
Momoka Kibi: Furano has potential to become the best character in the show, but this is only if there’s real pay off for her character. I realize the main plot is about dealing with the curse, so that may be the only issue they resolve in the long run. However it would feel kind of empty if we never get a conclusion where Furano is able to get over her issues fully. Not that 10 episodes is much time. We might not even get the main issue resolved…. Darn it.
Also, I just realized something here! I think this may be the first anime I’ve seen that brought up the concept that maybe just maybe the girl with the huge chest might have implants… Or maybe that silicone thing was just a joke, but even so it does beg the question.
Finally, I’ve seen people have little sister fetishes, but having a fetish for being a little sister. Wow just wow.
Sensuifu: That’s more like it. Pretty fun stuff this episode..was waiting for a turnaround. Hopefully it continues this way. As for Yukihara, that was a nice way of looking into her character and it’ll definitely be interesting to see whether or not she manages in truly confessing her love. Was there a change in direction? ‘Cause the show really seemed to feel different this episode.
Hitsugi Amachi: It definitely has been getting better the last two episodes. I think it’s partially from there being fewer of those idiotic Absolute Choices (and the choices themselves are becoming somewhat more funny and somewhat less outright humiliating or exploitative without any humorous payoff) as well as the small steps towards character development and growth given to Yukihira and, in a small way, to Konagi and even Reikadou(!). All of this has helped to make it less completely idiotic and more amusing. Things have improved measurably since Yuragi’s appearance. She even got in a nice one-liner joke cameo in this episode.
bctaris: Guess I was wrong about Yukihara’s drama getting more depth. Heck, the progression of it even makes sense in the larger picture.
And I was wondering (well, sort of) what significance the dancing pig had in the OP. Nice and fun sequence there of the two of them going about town. Even managed some bittersweetness with the last choice, while still retaining the joke. (Or the writers had to combine the joke of losing his porn stash to keep the show from teetering completely into melodrama. )
Hitsugi Amachi: Or, the production team just has something against Philosophy and the path towards becoming a philosopher

Momoka Kibi: One more thing actually. Furano for true ending route? I’m sort of thinking that would be the most interesting direction. I’d prefer Chocolat to just be that friend you came to care for & not be a romantic option. As for the others, I guess some could work. Some not all.
