Sentai Filmworks held a panel at Animaine this weekend and had a few things to announce, including a new license. The big acquisition, one that will delight many fans, is that they’ve acquired the rights to Nadia: Secret of Blue Water. The thirty-nine episode series, which comes from Gainax and was previously released by ADV Films years ago, will be coming out in 2014 on both DVD and Blu-ray and will retain its bilingual status. Having the dub already completed certainly makes it a more affordable venture in bringing a lengthy show like that to high definition.

The panel also expanded on a bit more of what’s coming in the March 2014 release period, which we were teased a bit with before, but indicating that Maria Holic Alive will get its debut on bilingual DVD and Blu-ray and Upotte! will be coming out that month as well, which will be getting the bilingual DVD and Blu-ray treatment.
