Flying Dog is setting things in motion for the December 27th release of Arpeggio of Blue Steel on DVD and Blu-ray by putting out a new ten minute promo today that highlights some of the great visuals of the show but also the fantastic score that it has as a CD soundtrack is included in the release. The show is getting a six disc release on both DVD and Blu-ray where the Blu-rays are priced at 6825 yen and the DVDs at 5775 yen each. The first volume is set to come with a series box for it, at least from Amazon Japan, while CD Japan is listing that the first Blu-ray release, which has two episodes, will also come with a bonus CD for the original soundtrack for the first volume, a booklet, an illustrated card set, three photo cards and a new digipak illustraiton. The only on-disc extra right now is the promo video collection. CD Japan is also listing through them an extra bonus of a 2013 special calendar for the series.

Known as Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio in Japan, the series is based on the manga by Ark Performance, which has seven volumes on hand so far in Japan, the new show is being directed by Seiji Kishi based on scripts by Makoto Uezu.

Plot Concept: In the story, a Fleet of Fog loaded with super weapons suddenly appear all over the world.
