Tokyo RavensGeneon Universal has a few series they’re distributing from the fall 2013 anime season and another one has had its home video release plans formalized as Tokyo Ravens is now out in the wilds of solicitation. The twenty-four episode series is getting an eight volume release that will be monthly beginning on December 25th, 2013. The show is set to have both formats in limited edition form where the Blu-ray releases are priced at 7875yen each while the DVD releases are at 6825yen each. Not a ton of details are available yet, but the first volume on Blu-ray is being solicited with the first three episodes of the series, an illustrated novel, a gatefold case and a booklet with an illustrated card included.

No on-disc extras are listed yet for the release as of this writing.

FUNimation is currently simulcasting the show through their service as well as on Hulu.

Plot concept: Hautora was born into a family of onmyouji known for their mastery of the occult. Unfortunately, he didn’t inherit their magical abilities, so he was doomed to live a normal life. At least, that is, until a girl from his past changes his future!
