With FUNimation doing their experiment with a couple of subtitled-only Blu-ray releases starting with the December 31st release of OniAi, I wasn’t sure what we’d get from them when it comes to the promotional side. Trailers and dub clips are certainly the norm, but will we get sub clips? So far all we have is the newly released trailer that talks about the upcoming release – but says nothing about it being subtitled-only in the trailer – and it avoids using any dialogue during it as it focuses more on music and antics with some well placed text cards throughout.
The release is priced at $49.98 retail and is already much cheaper online and will contain the entire twelve episode run plus Bonus OVA Episodes 1-6, Textless Opening and Closing Videos.
