The upcoming release from FUNimation for the first Dragon Ball Z Blu-ray collection has had a few new things revealed over the weekend, including some preliminary potential artwork for it, which you can see below. The first blush details have also arrived via the FUNimation shop listing which indictes that we’re getting a four disc release for the thirty-nine episodes here and what extras there will be:

  1. Funimation can just keep this set, I’ve been looking forward to DBZ on blu for years now , but this 16×9 alteration has to stop. I already have the crap 16×9 on the orange bricks they released, give me some original format 4:3 blu rays and I’ll buy everyone of them

  2. My preorder for this still stands but I wish that they would have left this pillarboxed.

    Were the “level 1.11” boxes made 16×9?
