Ahead of the January 28th release, Viz Media has revealed the DVD and Blu-ray cover art for the first installment of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital. The set, which brings the first thirteen episodes of the season out, was previously simulcast by Viz Media. The home video release will include some additional scenes, production sketches and storyboards for its extras. The Blu-ray is priced at $54.97 while the DVD release is priced at $44.82, both of which are bilingual releases.
Plot concept: Peace has returned to the Nura Clan following their victory against the Shikoku yokai, but things do not stay quiet for long. Ryuji Keikain, brother of Yura the Onmyoji, arrives in Ukiyoe Town bringing dire news: Hagoromo-Gitsune, the great yokai who was once stopped by Supreme Commander Nurarihyon, has returned! The Third Heir Rikuo Nura must now travel across Japan to gain new powers and allies in order to face down his most powerful enemy!
