The death of Tom Clancy this week certainly makes the arrival both fitting and awkward for the teaser poster we got as well as the new trailer that has just debuted for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. The production for Jack Ryan has been pretty quiet overall with little in the way of on set stills or other publicity coming through for it since it began back in August of 2012. The film, which was recently retitled from just Jack Ryan to Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, is set for a December 25th release for the original story by screenwriter Hossein Amini. The film is not a continuation of the character from previous works but rather a reboot of the character that deals with the younger days stories. With the film inching closer, and some words here and there about a potential delay, check out the trailer below for the film now that has Chris Pine as the lead of what they hope is a new franchise again.
