We’ve got a lot of stuff to work through for our Subscriber contests and really need to get going. We just finished one and it’s time to queue up a good one for October with Blood: The Last Vampire. This one is a touch different as it’s the limited edition 2001 Japanese box set, which means it’s a region 2 DVD. But it has a lot of good stuff on it that we just savored over way back in the day. The set, originally released for 11800yen by Sony Music Entertainment, was the first part of the multimedia project to introduce us to Saya and created a legion of fans that have followed her and her stories ever since, through a lengthy TV series, another shorter series and a movie as well as several manga incarnations. We really, really, hate to part with this one, but room needs to be cleared out and we want it to get into the hands of one lucky and enthusiastic subscriber.
