August is the kind of month that’s all over the map, with conventions finishing out, people traveling and then a lot students dropping offline for a bit to acclimate to having schedules and school again, be it college or not. This month saw a lot of things happening, though amusing when it comes to the reviews, ya’ll are interested in either Naruto or hentai, so at least that’s consistent. On the news side, Fairy Tail racked up a lot of attention and was shared heavily, but the most heavily shared article in social media was the Critical Mass relaunch piece. The news side grabbed a bunch from Otakon that was just around the edges but it’s not a surprise that the big things involved Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z, since that reaches beyond just the normal audiences.
