While Arrow has been a strong series in its first season for me for many reasons, one of the best was the introduction of Emily Bett Rickards as a supporting character as Felicity. While the character in the comics is relatively small overall and not overly used over the years for a variety of reasons, she fit well into the show here and has definitely provided Oliver with the support base he needs to operate a team. And in a lot of ways, you can see her growing into an Oracle style role as well as she gets closer to the team. The character has been lightly quirky, which is a welcome change, but also has some good depth to her and plenty of room to grow and explore.
