1 min read

Idolmaster movie sideFans of the Idolm@ster anime series have a lot to look forward to in 2014 as the official site announced that the theatrical feature will be hitting theaters there early next year. The feature, a new work rather than a rehash of the television show, was announced earlier in the year at Anime Contents Expo, but the time frame was a bit up in the air. A-1 Pictures will be handling the animation for it with the creative team from the TV series returning for it with Atsushi Nishigori serving as director and co-writing the screenplay with Tatsuya Takahashi.

Plot concept: The idols of 765 Production continue on their neverending journey—towards a new stage, towards a bright and shiny future! The girls and their producer have gone through thick and thin, and have stood face to face with all kinds of difficulties. It’s time again for the girls to foster their friendship, and through great discipline, they step forward to their starry future.
