Daisuki Starts Streaming ‘Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ’ Anime Today

DAISUKI.net is pleased to announce that the streaming premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ has been set for August 5, 2013.

Not only is this the streaming premiere, but it is also the worldwide English language premiere as Gundam ZZ has never before been released in English anywhere. “We’re extremely proud to release Gundam ZZ in English,” says Kunihiko Shibata, president of DAISUKI Inc., “Fans have been clamoring for Gundam ZZ for years, and this is what DAISUKI is about; giving fans what they want.” The stream will be available worldwide and will feature Japanese audio and English subtitles. On the premiere date the first 5 episodes of the series will be streamed with more to follow on a regular basis.

Directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the legendary creator of Mobile Suit Gundam Series, Gundam ZZ is the 1986 sequel to the popular Mobile Suit Z Gundam. Both comedic and somber in tone, the story of focuses on the AEUG battleship Argama, commanded by the popular returning character Bright Noa. Bright recruits the powerful teenaged Newtype Judau Ashta to pilot the new mobile suit, ZZ Gundam as well as several other teens that compromise the first ever Gundam team. Together they battle the forces of the Neo Zeon.
