The distribution deal between Sunrise and Right Stuf, which has the first two parts of Gundam Unicorn hitting this coming month, has also netted us a release date for the Part 3 release, which contains episodes 5 and 6 of the OVA series that goes back to the first Gundam timeline and expands on it from there. The two fifty minute episodes will feature the bilingual presentation along with such extras as Promotional Videos, Episode 4 Trailer, Episode 5 Ending with Lyrics, TV Commercials, Character Highlights and MS Highlights. The set is priced at $29.99 and is due out on November 5th, 2013.
The sixth installment landed on Blu-ray this past March as part of a worldwide release and the seventh volume is planned for a spring 2014 release.
Plot Concept: Just as the conflict at Torrington Base was at its end, a mysterious black Unicorn Gundam descended onto the battlefield. Banagher, still struggling with the death of Loni Garvey, is unprepared for its assault and is quickly taken captive. When he awakes, he finds himself aboard the Federation ship Ra Cailum. It seems that the Vist Foundation is actively assisting the Federation in their recovery of Laplace’s Box. Beyond this, he’s shocked to find that the pilot of the black Unicorn Gundam is none other than Marida Cruz.
As the final coordinates to Laplace’s Box are being uncovered, the race has already begun! But who will be the Box’s inheritor? Will it be Full Frontal, whose plans for the Box still remain shrouded in mystery? Or will the Earth Federation take possession and destroy the Spacenoid people’s chance for independence forever?
