Media Blasters has updated their Facebook page today with a new license announcement with Koe de Oshigoto, who gets involved with adult voice acting for games at the age of sixteen. Which is, as they say on the Facebook page, a pretty natural fit for Media Blasters. The two episode OVA series comes from Pony Canyon as animated by Studio Gokumi and was released from late 2010 to early 2011. It’s based on the manga of the same name from Azure Konno that ran in Comic Gum that began in 2008 and ended just a few months ago in April 2013 with a total of ten volumes.
Media Blasters has been working to get back on track with their releases in the last few months and has been actively looking at fan suggestions on their page about what to pickup, which this was one of. According to the page, “[…] this has been a week of going through dozen of screeners from many of the companies you guys suggested. There are some real winners here and finally going to get the quality of Kitty back where it belongs. Aki Sora and Office Lingeries are good starts but time to raise our game again.]”
Plot concept: Koe de Oshigoto! is a story about Aoyagi Kanna, a 16-year-old girl who was asked to become an erotic game voice actress on her 16th birthday by her 28-year-old sister at her company.
