FUNimation announced at Anime Central this year that they’ve picked up the full home video rights for Attack on Titan with a planned 2014 release. FUNimation previously picked up the SVOD rights for the highly anticipated anime series. The 25 episode post-apocalyptic series is directed by Tetsuro Araki (Guilty Crown and Highschool of the Dead) and from the studio behind the Ghost in the Shell series (Production I.G.

Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress.
