Winter 2013 anime series Love Live! School Idol Project has continues to be popular in Japan and Lantis is showing off a couple of new promos today with a look at an upcoming CD release in June as well as some of the live concert footage as well. The anime series was simulcast outside of Japan by Crunchyroll and NIS America has picked up the home video rights for it. Check out the samples in the first clip and then the eight minute concert footage piece from the New Years concert that will hit Blu-ray soon.
Anime concept: “Otonokizaka High School is planning to close within three years. However, nine female students come together with one thing in mind—form a pop idol group to revive the school’s popularity and keep it from shutting down. ‘In order to protect our beloved school, there’s only one thing we can do…become pop stars!’
