It’s a no-brainer to add in the first season when you’re simulcasting the second season, which is why Crunchyroll has worked to bring Samurai Girls to their service. The series, which was simulcast on The Anime Network back in 2010 and released on DVD and Blu-ray by Sentai Filmworks, will be available to viewers in the US and Canada. Premium members will have access to all episodes while free users can get four new episodes added every week.
Plot concept: Hyakka Ryōran: Samurai Girls takes place in an alternate timeline where the Tokugawa shogunate remained active and has remained isolated from the rest of the world.
