2 min read

Big Hero 6As Disney gets more of a handle on their Marvel acquisition from a few years ago across various brands, one that is finally taking shape is introducing a big screen theatrical animated version of some of the characters. Mysteriously slotted awhile ago for a November 7th, 2014 released in 3D, Disney has finally revealed what the unknown picture would be by announcing Big Hero 6. The comic property, originally born out of Alpha Flight‘s second series and having a couple of miniseries over th eyeras, brings in something that should appeal to the lighter side of things and have a sense similar to The Incredibles in a way. Deadline sells it thusly:  “The Walt Disney Animation Studios pic is an action comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion — a robot named Baymax —H iro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.”

Comic Concept: The astonishing return of Big Hero Six! Who, you ask? Why none other than Japan’s top heroes, defending the land of the rising sun in the name of the Emperor! Come join Hiro (the smartest boy in Japan), Baymax (his trusty robot companion), Honey Lemon (with her all-containing handbag), Gogo Tomago (somersaulting into an unstoppable energy ball)… plus, who are the Six’s two new members? When unknown super-villains strike Tokyo, BH6 is on the scene, and the stage is set for new adventure and a new series!
