While we’ve had a smattering of smaller teasers and some things tied to other events after the release of the first trailer, the second full trailer for Monsters University has debuted. This one goes more for the humor and less of the cuteness of the first one that played up the “I am Monsters University” angle, which is good since there’s a lot of characters involved here in some great comedy that definitely makes this a lot more fun than it did at first.
Plot Concept: Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).
