Crunchyroll has let loose with another of its new simulcast announcements, this time for the spring series Majestic Prince. The show is set to be simulcast on Thursday, April 4th, at 11am ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The series is directed by Keitaro Motonaga and animated by Dogakobo based on the manga of the same name by Rando Ayamine and Hikaru Niijima. It will be available to viewers in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Plot Concept: The story takes place in the future where humanity has reached out into space to gather more resources, including sending out genetically modified teenagers into deep space to mine asteroids with giant robots. At first glance, Majestic Prince appears to have all the trappings of an action-packed robot-fighting series, but upon closer inspection, Majestic Prince does not take itself too seriously and injects a good dose of humor into the whole story.
