We get a lot of extended clips and promos in the US for various series, but it’s not too often that we get a full five or six minute promo clip for anime series. The latest one to make this push is Hataraku Maou-sama!, a new show based on the light novel series of the same name by Satoshi Wagahara. The series is moving at a good clip in that form as there have been seven volumes since its first one back in February of 2011 and a couple of spinoff manga that kicked off in 2012. The new anime series is being done by White Fox and is set to premier eon April 4th.
Plot concept: Devil King Sadao is only one step away from conquering the world when he is beaten by Hero Emilia and forced to drift to the other world: modern-day Tokyo. As “conquering the world” are the only skills the Devil King possesses—and are obviously unnecessary in his new situation—he must work as a freeter to pay for his living expenses!
