After being licensed in North America by FUNimation and in the UK by Manga Entertainment, Madman entertainment has stepped up to bring Jormungand to Australian shores later this summer. The series ran for two seasons in Japan for a total of twenty-four episodes animated by White Fox based on the manga of the same name by Keitaro Takahashi. The series started airing the season after the manga ended in January 2012 after running since 2006 for a total of eleven volumes.

Madman Entertainment does not have a set time frame yet beyond later this year and simply stating that it will get the home video treatment.

Plot Concept: A ruthless arms dealer on a quixotic quest for world peace. A child soldier born into chaotic conflict. Their lives will intertwine as they journey together through the seedy underbelly of the world’s arms market.
