Makoto Shinkai’s ‘Kotonoha No Niwa’ Anime Feature Japanese Releases Get English Subtitles

A good piece of new news has surfaced via the JP & Asian Blu-ray, DVD and Streaming Industry News in that new listings in Japan for Makoto Shinkai’s Kotonoha no Niwa reveal that the home video editions will have English Language subtitles. The new film from Makoto Shinkai is set for released in Japan on May 31st, 2013 from CoMix Wave Films while the home video versions on DVD and Blu-ray will land on June 21st, 2013. Plot Concept: We have met, for each of us to walk forward. Takao, who is training to become a shoemaker, skipped school and is sketching shoes in a Japanese-style garden. He meets a mysterious woman, Yukino, who is older than him. Then, without arranging the times, the two start to see each other again and again, but only on rainy days. They deepen their relationship and open up to each other. But the end of the rainy season soon approaches…
