It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise what the charts are like this week as Skyfall is dominating across the board, though not in the rental market since it’s not being released there due to the staggered release schedule. On the new sales charts, the flick takes the top spot with Hotel Transylvania holding onto the second spot. Three other new films enter the charts this week that are doing mediocre overall, though The Man With The Iron Fists is hammering out a better spot than many expected considering its theatrical run. On the rental side, there aren’t any new releases in the top ten so it’s just a mild readjustment of what we had last week while Flight holds onto the top spot.
The charts are based on estimated consumer spending per data collected for the week ending February 17, 2013.
