As January closes out, the on demand side continues to roll along pretty nicely and we see that the kids side of things has taken the top spot. While we have some holdouts like Ted and Looper along with Pitch Perfect that seem to hold on pretty well here, Hotel Transylvania has taken the top spot as one of the new releases of the week. Paranormal Activity 4 also debuts during this time period and lands in the number four spot while the other new release, The Sessions, debuts at number eight. Sony had a really solid hit with Hotel Transylvania as they continue to expand their digital animation side and having it top the on-demand chart definitely helps.
