The Super Bowl is coming and that tends to be one of the big pushes from movie studios to get their films some early recognition and buzz, though it’s largely the more die hard fans that recognize it. Most people are watching the commercials to get to the funny, amazing or otherwise big water cooler talk commercials that will debut. But movie trailers are a big part of things in debuting some films and getting them out there a bit more. This year has six films slotted with an ad buy for the big game, three of which we have previews of the trailers below.
Iron Man 3, The Long Ranger, The Fast And The Furious 6, Oz: The Great And Powerful, World War Z (pre-game), Star Trek Into Darkness are all slotted to appear. The price for each 30 second spot? A cool $4 million, which is $500,000 more than they were a year ago on NBC when they had the rights as opposed to CBS this year.
