While I was a bit harsh with the series in its opening episode with what I did, I did laugh at parts of it and enjoyed it more on a second viewing later with the kids in the house and they just laughed hard at it. With Alba continuing on with his mission, along with the amusing Ros in tow, they make their way to the Black Caves for the next phase of their mission. It’s not quite as dark as they expected and there’s even a meat bun seller there, which makes Ros quite happy. Ros continues to be the best character here as we even see just how poorly he treats Alba as it goes on, making me grin stupidly. But even Alba has his accidental experience increases in some hilarious ways, making him just a blast to watch when tied with Ros. This incident brings us a new person into the show, which only adds to the bizarre nature to it, since we get the pint sized cute girl addition who is actually a Demon King. That’s going to cause problems.

In Summary:
The unusual nature of the show at times is off-putting, but it’s really starting to connect with me after revisiting the first episode and taking this one in. It has some good bits here that really makes me like the approach overall, but particularly because of how Ros figures into things and the way it takes stab at pretty much everyone and everything along the way. This one starts to expand things a bit with a new character introduction and more humor that involves knives and food, making for a good bit of silliness that just let me grinning and finding myself hoping that the series really finds its way as it progresses.
