The big change week is coming up for Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha as it shifts to more simultaneous series running in conjunction with Japan. One of the things that they’re doing is unveiling a new logo, which you can see to the right, as they’re dropping the Alpha portion of it now that the “test” phase is over.
In addition to the changes, they’re also bringing in a new series with the announcement that One-Punch Man will debut. The series comes from ONE and Yusuke Murata, where Murata is known for his work on Eyeshield 21. The series revolves around an average guy named Saitama with a not-so-average problem. It turn’s out that he’s a superhero that beats the snot out of enemies.
