After a less than engaging teaser trailer hit earlier for the February 14th release of A Good Day To Die Hard, Fox has come through with a new trailer that showcases the action and humor a bit better while using the familiar concept that suits it so well. Directed by John Moore, it brings back Bruce Willis in the title role while adding a bit more family trouble to the mix. The films have done well over the years with the first four grossing $1.1 billion worldwide. The fourth installment didn’t do as well in the US as it could, considering its budget, but it’s on par with the the third film in numbers overall. The features do much better overseas and the previous two films both brought in over $350 million each.
Plot Concept: Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, for the first time, finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack–unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover that their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.
