1 min read

Crunchyroll has added a new simulcast this week which definitely falls into familiar territory as the show was just licensed for home video release next year by Sentai Filmworks. Set for Thursdays at 10pm ET every week, Btooom! will get Crunchyroll digital distribution with free viewers getting the episodes a week later. The show is set for viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and South Africa.

Plot Concept: The action-packed series drops 22-year old Ryota Sakamoto onto a deserted island right in the middle of a real-life version of his favorite online game, ‘BTOOOM!’ Not knowing how or why, he and other players are being forced to fight and kill each other with bombs, called BIMs. Now, having to fight for his very survival, can Ryota survive and find out just what is going on as the curtain rises on this explosive game?
