What They Say:
Yumi is a busty, dark haired beauty who knows how to give her students what they want. But unfortunately, she’s never been good at getting what she wants and lately everything seems to be going wrong. First she has a nasty break-up with her fiance, and then she’s sexually harassed by the Vice-Principal. One thing leads to another, and before she knows it, the VP and some very horny students trap her into a hot and heavy orgy.
After ravishing her over and over again, they make her swear to become their secret sex slave. Now Yumi’s only hope is the reluctant Katsutoshi and his perky girlfriend Keiko. But even with their help, it’ll be hard for Yumi to escape her bonds of sexual slavery, since everyone seems to be hot for teacher…

Audio:
The audio presentation for this series is standard in that we get the original Japanese and the English language adaptation in stereo encoded at 192kbps. The stereo mix is pretty much the standard you get from an adult show with a minimal full feeling usually just in the music while the dialogue and what few other sound effects there are find themselves being mostly center channel driven. It’s not a bad track but it’s not something that leaps out at you either. Dialogue is clean and clear throughout and we had no problems with dropouts or distortions.

Originally released to video in 2003, the transfer for this two OVA series is presented in its original full frame aspect ratio. The transfer here is identical to the previous release of this show from Critical Mass. The materials here are quite good overall and are essentially the same kind we’ve seen for most of the Vanilla Series releases. There’s some visible dot crawl throughout a number of scenes though that’s a bit distracting at times, showing up along some hairlines or around other areas. Beyond that it looks pretty solid though with clean clear colors that don’t show much in the way of macroblocking or gradient issues.
Packaging:
The front cover for this release is one of the ones that I really liked a lot the first time around and it still holds up well. We get a great shot of Yumi spread out across a school desk with her top down around her waist and the pantyhose being in shreds as she seemingly fondles herself. Combined with the logo being written across the bottom that doesn’t take up much space it looks great and attractive. The back cover has another great illustration of Yumi with her jacket on and this time with white stockings as she sits along the left side and a couple of shots of the show are lined along the top. The summary covers the premise pretty well while the remainder of the cover has the discs features and very basic technical information. Unlike the previous edition, we get a solid technical grid here that was lacking before..
Menu:
The main menu for this release uses the great illustration from the back cover along the right while the left side has a pair of windows showing animation from the show through a couple of clips. In between them is the basic set of navigation selections as it all plays along to a brief bit of fast paced instrumental music. Much to my dislike though the menu again is the kind that doesn’t allow at least my players to hit stop, forcing you to start the feature in order to stop the disc. Access times are nice and fast and the disc correctly read our players’ language presets and played accordingly.

One of the better if still fairly dark and disturbing entries in the Vanilla Series collection, Hot For Teacher brings us back to the ever fun subgenre of teacher and student relations. This brings in such fun favorite elements as school uniforms, desks and all sorts of classrooms that can be creatively used to push different kinds of fetishes. Hot For Teacher touches on a couple of these things as we get to see another teacher that ends up with the long end of the stick up the end.
The show centers around the very attractive dark haired teacher Yumi, who we meet initially at an event with other teachers where everyone is getting a bit tipsier than they should. Before she gets drunk she tries to take off but finds herself cornered by the vice principal, a large man with a bald head and one hell of a tongue that wants to get used. She manages to fend him off and escape his clutches but we see in flashback to some time prior where she was engaged to a man who promised to wait for sex until they got married. His ability to hold out was pretty minimal though and he just simply groped her a bit one time while asking to skip the wait and she breaks off the engagement and walks out on him.
The vice principal isn’t so easily stymied though and he has a couple of students that he can use to his advantage and works a plan so they get the teacher into a room where nobody will be bothered and accost her there. Everything gets filmed onto a camcorder to be used as blackmail against her should she say anything and before Yumi really realizes, she’s under the control of the guys and the vice principal. One of the students is your basic scum guy who will do whatever he can to get some action while the other guy is actually only interested because he wants to be able to perform good for his girlfriend when they actually go at it for the first time. This guy is actually an idiot though since his girlfriend already offered herself to him but he panicked about not knowing what to do and instead decided on this option.
As the show and the various scenes progress, we get Yumi into such fun situations as being stuck with a vibrator inside of her while trying to teach class or walk down the halls with the rest of the students. The sex scenes throughout the show are pretty good for the most part which is mostly due to Yumi being an attractive character, as well as Keiko the girlfriend who earns points by having green hair. The downside to the sex scenes is that several of them have a decent amount of golden showers material to it, such as when Yumi leaves a nice big puddle in the classroom after the remote control vibrator works her over. Bad enough that it’s there but did the camera have to linger on it that long?
In Summary:
Hot For Teacher is a fun little title with a bit of material that makes me cringe just a bit. It plays out in the domination/blackmail aspect pretty well and it’s an explicit show but it doesn’t go over the top with the material. The storyline is pretty thin as you can expect from a title like this but it does have a nice twist to it that explains more of the reasoning behind what’s going on. With good looking animation, very nice character designs and fun with a bald headed vice principal whose privates look like his head, Hot For Teacher is a good title for those wanting to get into some basic scat stuff or looking for mostly non-violent domination material.
