The start of any movie is a difficult point and with The Avengers, I have to admit that the first few minutes of it including that chase sequence didn’t work well for me. Unsurprisingly, there’s an alternate opening, or least a little bit of one, that runs for just under ninety seconds which Marvel Studios has let loose with online via Yahoo in anticipation of the September 25th release of the DVD/BD/3D home video version.
Unlike the other bits that have been released, this one is likely to stay online and not suffer a takedown notice.
