Viz Media Sets ‘Inu Yasha: The Final Act’ Anime DVD/BD Release Date

Viz Media has set the release date at long last for Inu Yasha: The Final Act. Following up on their promises at Anime Expo this year to release things in both formats, a DVD and Blu-ray edition of the first part is now scheduled for November 20th, according to an update at Right Stuf. The DVD edition is slated at $44.99 while the Blu-ray is at $54.99 for the 325 minute set that will be in both English and Japanese with subtitles.

Inu Yasha: The Final Act aired five years after the original series ended its 167 episode run and brought things to a close through early 2010 with the additional 26 episode run. Viz Media previously simulcast the series and has shown it off on other services as well.
