‘Dog Days’ Season 2 Anime Gets Crunchyroll Simulcast

Crunchyroll may have slowed down with its summer simulcast anime series acquisitions, but it hasn’t finished. The streaming site has just announced that they’ve picked up the rights to bring out the second season of the Dog Days anime series. The show is set to launch on Saturday’s at noon ET for premium members and a week later for other episodes. In addition to getting the second season, they’ll also be bringing out the first season at some future, unspecified day. Both seasons of Dog Days will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Plot Concept: Following Cinque’s wild adventure in the Flonyard – an alternate world where its inhabitants look like humans but with animal ears – he is summoned back once again! However, this time he is joined with childhood friend Rebecca and cousin Nanami to become Galette’s Hero as the war wages on the battlefield and in desperate need for an end to the fighting…
