The focus for this episode is a good bit of fun as it focuses on the Star Festrival as Moe gets all the things together and is ready to run with it in a big and enjoyable way. Of course, Poyo has to be distracted since he just wants to get involved in his own way and Moe knows the trick; get Hide to distract him with some potato chips. Hide’s got some really good bits in this as he goes up against Poyo and uses a lot of solid ways of distracting him, but we also see that Poyo has some real skill of his own, giving us that short but brutal takedown of Hide that will make you laugh or grin hugely. The wish aspect of the festival is done in a fun way here that comes together well, from the instruction on the wish writing to Poyo’s wish as well.

In Summary:
This is definitely a very cute episode as we see Moe getting all excited for the yearly event and having to both distract Poyo while getting a lot accomplished. Hide has some great bits here and Poyo once more shows he’s truly the cat of the house. The Star Festival is used well here and I really liked the way they worked the whole wish writing, the bits of history/fantasy brought into it and the overall vibrancy of it that stood out more than usual. It’s a quick hit overall once again, but Poyo gets some very fun bits here and the core cast as a wh9ole is well utilized.
