Sometimes it’s good to just reflect on what you have and this episode, while not serving as a recap thankfully, shows how Poyo is viewed by others around the neighborhood and family. Naturally, Hide is focused on the fangs while Moe on the cuteness but even Papa finds some of the things Poyo does to be awfully cute when they shouldn’t be. Poyo does end up helping his status a bit in the neighborhood market since they know he’s his and everyone just loves how cute Poyo is. But as we know, Poyo gets into his own bit of trouble and there’s even a masked civit that he gets into a fight with and that brings in its own trouble as well since it was sort of for the best that he did it since the animal isn’t good for Papa’s gardens. There are definitely some cute moments with the animal but it ends leaving you cringing just a little bit.
In Summary:
While not filled with a lot of big laughs of medium laughs, we do get a continuing sense of where Poyo is when it comes to how others in the area view him. And that is useful because based on what we see sometimes in the episodes it’s easy to imagine he may be a very hated cat because of his antics. But instead we do see that he’s generally a well liked cat that helps raise Moe’s family status just a little bit, even if Hide has to suffer for it with the bites. Poyo has some very cute moments here, especially when they go over his characteristics at the start, making for some cute grins at the least.
