One of the best things to happen in the manga realm in the last several months in my mind is the new focus on serving the non-yaoi adult manga fan with the introduction of Project-H. The new company has been bringing out a number of titles since the first three landed in 2011 and now the label has been spun into its own company as an LLC, giving it a chance to focus on things in a bit of a cleaner form. The company sent out a new press release this week about it as well as how fans can get their books directly through a new commerce site and information for retailers. They also brought out a couple of reminders about some June books that are set and a look at what else has already been announced.

Previously a special publishing imprint of Digital Manga, Inc., as of March 8, 2012, Project-H is now an independent entity that specializes in the localization and publication of sexually explicit Japanese comics depicting heterosexual relationships, known as Hentai manga. Project-H debuted in 2011 with three titles: Riosuke Yasui’s Shocking Pink!, Hiroshi Itaba’s Three P, and Kuon Michiyoshi’s embrace & bloom.
