SyFy has a few things in the works and another pilot going through the casting phase, Rewind, has brought on its first act with Shane McRae, who has done a few things but largely on stage and some soap opera guest appearances. The two hour pilot from SyFy is written by Justin Marks and directed by Jack Bender and is expected to go into production in April for the channel. McRae is set to play Henry Knox, ex-Special Forces who now ranks as a field operative in a special division of the Department of Homeland Security.
Plot concept: The series deals with a team of military field operatives and civilian scientists who must use untested technology to travel back in time to alter past events in order to change the future and avoid a devastating terrorist attack.
