Comics fans have awhile to go until they see Henry Cavill in the Superman suit on the big screen, but they can get another taste of his action side performance with the upcoming April 6th release of The Cold Light of Day, which also features Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. The film is coming from Summit Entertainment under the direction of Mabrouk El Mechri, the man behind JCVD and Virgil. It also continues the solid trend for actors like Willis and Weaver in finding themselves engaging and fun action roles as they get older, something that was practically off limits for many, many years.
Plot Concept: Will Shaw (Henry Cavill) goes to Spain for a weeklong sailing vacation with his family but his whole world turns upside down when the family is kidnapped by intelligence agents hell-bent on recovering a mysterious briefcase and Will suddenly finds himself on the run.
