2012 is definitely here as the anime licensing announcements get underway once again. This round comes from the folks at Madmen Entertainment down in Australia when they were at the Wai-Con 2012 convention and had their panel. There are some familiar announcements to be sure here, though the most frustrating for North American fans is the Digimon Adventures 02 release as that has not seen any sort of physical media release here at all. Others are ones that are coming via various studios in 2012:
- Digimon Adventures 02: (Second season. Planned for June release. Will take fan feedback from first season into account.
- Okamisan: To be released in June or July.
- Towa no Quon: Coming out late 2012/early 2013.
- Freezing (TV): Will be released uncut.
- Guilty Crown: Will be streamed on the Madman Screening Room website in February
