AnimEigo Returns To Anime With… Hello Kitty

1 min read

AnimEigo made a bit of news to kick off 2012 with by noting via Twitter that they were going to release new anime to the US market this year, “unlike anything we’ve done before,” and promptly linked to the news that they’re going to be releasing Growing Up With Hello Kitty in a couple of volumes starting in March of this year. The pioneering anime company intends to have the release available at Wal-Mart, Toys-R-Us, Amazon, major retailers and their own site, AnimEigo.com. Each Growing Up with Hello Kitty contains 6 entertaining stories that teach young children important basic life lessons.

AnimEigo is not the first publisher to go with Hello Kitty releases as both ADV Films and Geneon Entertainment took part in releasing different parts of the sprawling empire of cuteness.

Plot concept: Hello Kitty and her twin sister Mimmy learn to share, eat their vegetables, sleeping by themselves, answer the phone, use proper table manners, and much more.
