First Blush ‘Lord Of The Rings’ LEGO Box Art Revealed

1 min read

After the first blush announcement the other day about the LEGO group coming up with the rights to make products in 2012 based on both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies, a series of basic box shots have surfaced showcasing what these first sets will be like.  The varied sets work with both the smaller ones that have a couple of characters and a particular event, such as Gandalf Arrives and Shelob Attacks but the images also contain some of the bigger ones as well such as Helms Deep and the Mines of Moira which shows off a bit more involved sets. Noticeably absent from all the boxes are piece counts, which isn’t a surprise as the sets are pretty basic at this point and look to be largely mock-ups of where they intend to go rather than finalized pieces.
