March 23rd, 2012 is still a bit away but we’re starting to get some more interesting posters coming out that are more mainstream appeal than fan appeal. The previous run of the various mini-posters for each of the districts was certainly a good way at building some minor online viral community stuff, but posters like this are the ones that will play better sitting in a theater for the next couple of months and populating movie sites. This one gives us the tough problem of having the lead facing away from the viewer, but it turns the focus to the symbol and puts her face along with Peeta on either side in multiples as they watch on as well.
Plot Concept: The Hunger Games follows the tale of Katniss Everdeen as she tries to survive in post-apocalyptic North America known as Panem. Every year two tributes (one boy, one girl) from each district of Panem are chosen to enter the Arena and battle to the death.
