The small but steady marketing campaign for the eagerly anticipated Ridley Scott film Prometheus just got a new dose of fun today as the official Facebook page updated with the first theatrical poster for the film. It includes the tagline in the middle of it of “The search for our beginning could lead to our end” which is certainly teasing enough to get people interested who know the, ahem, DNA of the film.
Plot concept: “Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.”
