FUNimation Offers ‘One Piece’ Digital Purchases

FUNimation is no stranger to offering its wares for digital purchase but they’re now expanding into a potentially big body of work if they can get a lot of it on there. They’ve announced today that One Piece episodes from The First Voyage arc are now available for digital purchase in the Zune Marketplace and on the Sony Video Unlimited store on PlayStation Network and Sony Entertainment Network. This lets people view the episodes they’ve purchased on their consoles as well as Zune hardware.

This comes in addition episodes of Guilty Crown and LASTEXILE – Fam, The Silver Wing –  being on the service as well even while being simulcasts. The episodes are available digitally the day after their simulcast air date for just .99 cents for the SD version and $1.99 for the HD version.
