Japanese ‘Fate/Zero’ Blu-ray Box Set To Have English Subtitles

1 min read

The plans for Fate/Zero in Japan are getting a bit clearer when it comes to its release as it’s been revealed that prior to the second season kicking off in April, a Blu-ray box set will be released in March containing the first thirteen episodes that run through December of this year. The Japanese Blu-ray will debut on March 7th, 2012 for 39,900 yen and will be a 1080p AVC presentation with Japanese 2.0 PCM and English and Japanese subtitles included on it. The on disc extras will include a trailer collection, TV spots and clean opening and closing sequences as well as an expanded edition of the first episode which has new scenes to it. All of it will be wrapped up in a special digipak box with artwork by Takashi Takeuchi that holds the seven discs that are being released individually throughout the series run. In addition to that, it looks like there will be new interviews and production notes for the release and a bonus CD that contains the first Fate/Zero soundtrack.
