While we did get a trailer back in June for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, things have been fairly quiet since then as it was more an international push than a US market push. With the film set to open in December, it’s time to draw attention back to it and Paramount has slid out a new trailer with a director’s lead-in by Brad Bird for it. The new feature, which has Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway and Michael Nyqvist starring, is being produced by J.J. Abram’s Bad Robot production company with Abrams and Cruise handling the writing and story ideas for it. The theatrical release is currently set for December 16th in the U.S. for wide release.
