Yen Press kicked off the NYAF/NYCC weekend with a list of new announcements and rescues that are sure to delight fans. The big pickup for fans at first is the Madoka Magica manga, but the other one to really take a good look at is the license rescue of Alice in the Country of Hearts. This marks the first title from TOKYOPOP to get licensed elsewhere and even though it won’t hit until 2012, the announcement came much earlier than most expected since reworking licenses can take a lot of time.
